PRIVATE LESSONS: $70/hour

Done in the comfort of your own home, I come to you and work with your dog in their natural environment.

When possible, your lesson can be recorded for you to review later. I upload the video and provide you with a private link. Private lessons are great for dogs where your goal might be walking nicely on a leash, learning sit and down, learning how to properly play games like tug or fetch, dog aggression, coming when called and a lot more. Once I see a level of comfort and capacity that you can continue your dog’s learning without me present, you’ll be given some training work to be done between our lessons.

If you’re not sure what your goals are or where to start, I do offer a structured progression program for private lessons. If you’re interested in what this entails feel free to ask. (If you’re wanting in-home private lessons and are over a 10 mile travel distance from me, a travel fee may be included. 11-20 miles add $10. 21-30 miles add $20. 31-40 add $30.)

GROUP CLASS

Group classes are offered at Summit Pet Care in Lee’s Summit. Check their website for scheduling and details. Classes are for beginner level training with dogs that have no major behavior issues and are capable of learning in a group setting. Group class is 6 one hour lessons, once per week. See their website for more details such as pricing and scheduling. There’s a basic obedience class, and for graduates of that class I offer an intermediate level class course. Next group class with begins summer of 2024.

ALL PACKAGES LISTED BELOW ARE TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE. I AM CURRENTLY ONLY OFFERING PRIVATE LESSONS AND GROUP CLASSES. BOARD AND TRAINS WILL BE AVAILABLE MID TO LATE OCTOBER.

BOARD&TRAIN APPROX. 4 WEEK OFF LEASH PROGRAM: $3,500

Obedience - (All these are off leash reliable) Place, Heel, Kennel, Out, Stay [Heel is the recall word as well, Stay allows your dog to freeze in the spot they’re in but they can sit, stand, or lay down, it’s their choice] This simplifies the commands! They will also learn a true meaning of NO.

Behavior modification: stopping jumping, inappropriate barking, over excitement resolved, destructive behaviors or other mild behavioral issues.

IF your dog has a more SEVERE behavioral issue(s) like dog to dog aggression, resource guarding, unresolved potty training, etc. then the 4 week program extends to a 5+ week program with an additional $750 cost, so a total of $4,500. IF your dog is showing early progress with the behavior issue and I feel they’ll finish at the 4 week mark then I will let you know. I’m always looking to save clients from spending unnecessary funds and be away from their dog any longer than is needed.

I am accessible after training concludes for the lifetime of your dog for any training refreshing, advice, problem solving, etc. There are 2 owner lessons while the dog is with me, a take home lesson and a couple follow up lessons at your home (so a total of 5 owner lessons minimum).

A non refundable deposit of $1,300 is paid upon drop off. The additional payment/remaining balance is made after training is completed. If you’re not satisfied, do not pay. Though it has never happened, I would refuse to take money from an unsatisfied client. That, and I’m confident that your dog will be successful in their training program.

All dogs must be up to date on vaccinations, be in good health, and be micro chipped or have tags.

For people aggressive dogs, this is done via private lessons only. I do not board human aggressive dogs. And it’s ideal to have a dog issue like that worked on in their home environment with you, their owner.

WEEKDAYS BOARD&TRAIN (YOUR DOG SPENDS WEEKENDS WITH YOU) PROGRAM: $3,500

This is everything the traditional above board and train program offers, however, your dog goes home with you on the weekends. This is a total of a 6 week program however, it’s 5 days a week, so essentially your dog gets training for a total of 30 days. This is an option for those folks that don’t want to be away from their dogs for 4 weeks straight. Having them on the weekends does not affect their training either!

DAYCARE +TRAINING (24 LESSONS) OFF LEASH: $2,400

This a 24 lessons day care package. I’ll watch your dog during the day and while they’re here, they will receive training. This daycare program has the goal of getting your dog obedience trained off leash. These 24 lessons can be spaced out however you’d like but must be used withing a 60 day period. Daycare is anytime between 7:30am-6pm Mon.-Sat. $800 deposit with remaining balance upon completion of program. Their day will consist of an early and afternoon walk, training, rest periods, and socializing with safe/stable dogs. Owner training will take place during their last 4 daycare days. Please allot 1 hour of your time for those days to receive instructions on how to utilize your dog’s new training.

****** There MAY be some additional costs that you need to consider for your budget that may include purchasing an e-collar, a crate, a dog cot, a martingale collar, a retractable leash. This is appox. an additional $350 or so. You may already have some of these items, in which case, you will NOT need to purchase them. ******
