BOARDING
More Than Just Boarding
Leaving your dog with someone is a big decision. At Simplified K9, your dog isn't simply being boarded—they're cared for by a professional dog trainer with over 8 years of experience working hands-on with dogs of every breed, size, temperament, and personality.
Throughout my career, I've safely managed and trained hundreds of dogs, including coaching daycare staff on how to safely supervise large groups of dogs. Reading canine body language, recognizing subtle signs of stress, and knowing when to step in before problems develop are skills built through years of experience.
Many boarding facilities rely on teams of kennel attendants with frequent staff turnover. At Simplified K9, your dog is cared for directly by an experienced professional dog trainer, giving you confidence they're in knowledgeable, capable hands.
Professionally Supervised Group Play
For dogs that are a good fit, group play is one of the highlights of their stay.
Dogs are thoughtfully matched based on their play style, energy level, size, and personality—not simply their size. Some dogs are naturally confident communicators, while others aren't. My job is to recognize those differences, advocate for dogs that need it, step in before problems develop, and ensure every dog gets appropriate breaks throughout the day. A balance of play and rest helps keep dogs happy, safe, and relaxed.
Customize Your Dog's Stay
Every dog is different, so boarding can be customized with optional add-ons including individual walks, fetch or tug sessions, and short, fun reward-based training games that provide mental stimulation. These sessions are meant to be enjoyable enrichment—not formal obedience training.
Individualized Care
I intentionally keep my boarding program smaller than many commercial facilities, allowing me to spend more one-on-one time with each dog and closely monitor every interaction. Whether your dog loves playing with friends or prefers a quieter stay, I'll tailor their experience to fit their personality and comfort level.
My goal is simple: to provide a safe, enriching boarding experience where you can feel confident your dog is being cared for as if they were one of my own.
